What is SayNO?
SayNO is an uncompromising digital-commitment system, built for people who are serious about reclaiming their attention. Most app blockers fail for one reason: they still trust the user to keep their own promise in the weakest moment. SayNO doesn't.
Instead of a simple toggle you can flip off, SayNO introduces LOCKED IN — a commitment mode that requires deliberate multi-step friction to exit. When a blocked app is attempted, SayNO doesn't just block; it surfaces a curated replacement activity. Reading, learning, movement — something better than boredom.
Why we built it

After finding that every existing tool left an empty void where the bad habit used to be, the founder started building the product from scratch. The result is SayNO: a system designed around the belief that real commitment has friction, and that blocking is only half the solution.

Our core beliefs
- Willpower isn't enough — environment is. Real change begins when your surroundings support your decisions.
- Real commitment has friction. If breaking your commitment is effortless, it was never real.
- Decide while you're clear, negotiate never. Make your commitments once; let the system honour them.
- Blocking isn't enough — replacement is. Remove the distraction and fill the gap with something better.
- Shame changes nothing. Better systems do. We don't remind you that you failed; we help you succeed.
Who is SayNO for?
SayNO is built for people who have tried every other blocker and found it too easy to bypass. It is for those who want a Ulysses-contract style commitment device — an agreement you make with your future self, enforced by the system so your present self can't undo it on a whim.
It is particularly useful for: breaking social-media addiction, structured digital detoxes, and deep-work sessions where distraction is not an option.
Platform
SayNO launches first on Android. Android's system-level APIs allow the deep integration required to build LOCKED IN without OS restrictions. iOS support is on the roadmap after the Android launch achieves stability.
